Limus means mud in Latin, which is exactly where this tire dominates. Deep, aggressive, and well-spaced knobs cut through muddy conditions so you can flow through corners, zip thru off-camber sections, and powering up inclines with ease. A great tire for truly extreme conditions like the 2018 CX World Championships where it won four of five gold medals. 

This handmade PRO version combines a supple Super Polyester casing with our standard Smart Compound. 

This Challenge TLR model is hookless rim compatible, and is designed to be compliant with UCI tire-width rules with most rims having an internal rim width up to 23mm.

  • Challenge's workhorse handmade tire is the PRO series, delivering performance and ride feel unmatched by traditional vulcanized tires. Perfect for the rigors of daily riding.
  • Super Polyesters with higher thread counts of 220-300tpi make up our most affordable handmade casings. Polyester is much softer and stronger then nylon, is impervious to water and quite durable.
  • Challenge's standard rubber compound, SMART is the perfect balance of durability and performance. Their handmade construction ensures that our tread compounds are never hardened or heated by the vulcanization process.
  • Puncture Protection System (PPS) is a tough, tightly-woven fabric placed between the tread and casing to increase puncture resistance.
