Shipping and Pickup FAQs
Shipping is available to your door via Canada Post. Free Canada Post Expedited Shipping on all orders over $74.00*.
In stock items are delivered on average within 2 - 5 days. For full details, visit our Shipping Information page.
Note: If Canada Post is experiencing a high volume of parcels. Your shipment may experience delays out of our control.
We do not ship bikes, flammable items, or CO2 canisters. These products are available to purchase online with curbside/instore pickup only.
*Some brands may only be available to purchase in store only.
Curbside / In-store order pickup is available during regular store hours from our Sittsville, Orleans and Westboro stores. (Store Hours)
After placing an order, you'll receive two emails from us:
- First email is your order confirmation
- Second email will indicate that your order is complete and ready for pickup with the store location and time after which it will be ready.
**If you have not heard from us, it means your order is not ready for pickup yet. Please do not proceed to our stores to pickup your order if you have NOT received an 'Order Complete' email.
After you receive your 'Order Complete' email you can pickup your order at your selected pickup location anytime during store business hours.
Upon arrival come into the store and head over to our web order desk.
For verification purposes - please be ready to provide your order confirmation email, photo ID, and credit card used for the order.
Bike FAQs
- Visit us in store or purchase a bike online for in store pickup.
- For online bike purchases - you will receive a confirmation call/email from our stores to ensure we have the right bike for you, before it goes to our Service Center for it's Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
- We recommend coming in on our quieter days, including Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- In our busiest periods – especially over the weekend – it can be difficult to have a longer conversation with you about your needs. It is best to be prepared with as much information as possible about what you are looking for.
- We offer a 30 day “right bike guarantee” and will gladly exchange your bike for another within 30 days if you are not happy with your purchase. Learn more

We are the National Capital regions Trek and Specialized experts. While we service other brands, we may not be able to source parts for all bikes. As a result we will not be able to service the following:
- Bikes 20+ years old
- Bikes from large big box retailers – these bikes often have parts that we cannot source for repair
- Bikes from brands which include proprietary parts that are only available to bike shops that sell that brand
- E-bikes from brands we do not sell
- Bikes with Campagnolo parts
- Bikes that are in very poor shape (ie. substantially rusted)
- Recumbents, hand cycles, adult tricycles and other nonconventional specialty bike like objects
- Bring your bike in during store hours or book a service appointment. Store Hours

- Same day service - We are able to fix flat tires and get basic parts (eg. bells, racks, fenders) installed.
- 2 day service - Service packages and other repairs. Please refer to our Bicycle Service & Repair page.
- Bikes are to be picked up on the day service has been completed.
- Bikes left unclaimed for more than one week beyond the service completion date of service will be moved to off-site storage.
- Once a bike has been moved to off-site storage we require 2 business days notice to bring it back to the store.
- Bikes left unclaimed for more than 30 days will be donated to local charity.

E-Bike Service Policy
At Bushtukah, we’re committed to offering safe, high-quality service for electric bicycles. To ensure the best care and safety for both our team and customers, we currently service only e-bikes equipped with one of the following drive systems: Bosch, TQ, Fazua, Mahle, Specialized Turbo, Shimano, and Hyena.
We do not service e-bikes with drive systems from manufacturers not listed above, or those with unrecognized, generic, or third-party motor systems. Additionally, we only work on pedal-assist e-bikes—we do not service throttle-only models.
All e-bikes brought in must meet the UL 2849 safety standard, which ensures proper electrical and fire safety. E-bikes without this certification are not eligible for service.
To maintain safety and quality, we reserve the right to refuse service on any e-bike that has been modified from its original specifications—this includes changes to the drive system, battery, wiring, or performance tuning—or if the bike appears unsafe or structurally compromised. This includes any signs of battery damage, which may pose a safety risk and will make the bike ineligible for service.
In some cases, we may ask you to take your battery home with you during service for safety or storage reasons. If your e-bike requires a key to remove the battery, please bring the key with you when dropping off the bike.
