The Archetype is a racer's tire, with speed and low rolling resistance at its heart.

It was born in collaboration with UAE Team Emirates - XRG with the goal of making a tire that was even lighter and faster before.

The Archetype features a 30mm width, shedding 35 grams compared to the Grand Prix 5000 S TR. An ultra-supple carcass ensures maximum responsiveness and comfort under pressure. At the heart of the tire is Continental’s iconic BlackChili compound, reducing rolling resistance while maintaining class-leading grip.

Further enhancing performance is LazerGrip, Continental’s signature micro-profile shoulder treatment for confident cornering at speed. The Archetype also integrates Active Comfort Technology, absorbing road vibration for a smoother, more controlled ride.

Fully Tubeless Ready and hookless-compatible, the Archetype is engineered for modern race setups, from Grand Tours to high-stakes time trials.
