Novice Women’s Bicycle Ride

Are you uncomfortable riding in traffic? Are you looking for people to ride with? Want some guidance on using your gears? Do you want to expand the places you ride? Bushtukah group ride leader and Trek Women’s Advocate Treena Grevatt will help you gain confidence and answer your cycling safety and skills questions. Get ready to take your biking to another level and prepare for joining our regular group rides.
Ride length 20-25km, pace 18-22 km/hr (or as needed by the group), this is a NO DROP clinic.
Some time on each FREE CLINIC will be spent each ride discussing/practising skills, cycling safety & rider etiquette.
Pre-requisites: Able to ride bike in a controlled way, able to brake, stop and start safely around others.
Required Gear: road or hybrid bike (or mountain bike with slick tires), helmet, hydration, flat repair kit
Recommended Gear: Daytime running lights, cycle computer
